The name ‰ÛÏAronde‰۝, which is an Old French word for a swallow‰۪s wings, refers to the extremely original double-rounded curve unfurling almost like wings along the case flanks, and accentuated by a strongly cambered sapphire crystal. The subtle and elegant opaline silvered dial is adorned with a finely hand-guilloch̩ motif epitomising the artistic crafts faithfully perpetuated by Vacheron Constantin; while the applied gold numerals, hour-markers and Maltese Cross symbol emphasise the highly structured nature of this model.
